CLADO is a youth-led nonprofit in Peshawar, Pakistan. We use arts, literature and cultural heritage to strengthen democracy, protect the environment, build peace and bring communities together.
Founded by young people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
CLADO was founded by young people who lived through the war on terror in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We saw how conflict silenced arts and literature, dismantled creative spaces and disconnected a generation from its heritage.
Today we bring those spaces back — through festivals, dialogues and youth programmes that turn stories into solutions and creativity into lasting change.
Spaces where young people use creative expression to address local challenges.
A society where arts, literature and culture drive peace and inclusive development.
Four programmes, one belief: creativity builds stronger, more peaceful communities.
Our flagship celebration of literature, poetry, theatre, music and dialogue.
Youth conversations and creative action on climate and the environment.
Art, music and theatre that bring communities together across differences.
Civic dialogue that helps young people take part in local democracy.
Over two vibrant seasons, PLF has become one of Pakistan’s most dynamic cultural gatherings — drawing 6,000+ attendees of all ages, from children to senior citizens.
Every rupee supports free festivals, workshops and dialogues.
CLADO’s events are free and open to everyone. Your donation helps us keep it that way — and reach more young people across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
